second version circa 1934, with blued matching number 25 1/2in. detachable barrel with push-button release, ramp fore-sight, elevating notch rear-sight, bolt-action barrel lock, rear mounted peep-sight of 'L' shaped form, blued air-chamber marked with model designation to the left and five lines of patents to the right, maker's details to the trigger unit housing, the right side with swinging safety catch, chequered walnut semi saw-handled butt-stock, ribbed heel-plate, no provision for fore-end, the whole retaining a strong amount of original finish
